Chili Cook-Off

Join us for a Chili Cook-Off from 3-5 pm on Sunday, November 14th in the ACF parking lot (set-up starts at 2pm).

We are called to “STIR UP one another in love, good deeds & meeting together." (Hebrews 10:24). Let's get literal, people!

We are challenging our small-groups community & staff to a Chili Cook-Off! Have fun competing but more importantly, give our guests an opportunity to meet you, see & hear first-hand about your ministry area…and of course they get to taste test & vote, too! We’ll also have lawn games for kids! 

Each participating group is welcome to have multiple entries. That’s right - you can compete within your own group! We’ll have prizes for Red Meat Chili, White Meat Chili, No Meat Chili, Cornbread, Appetizers, and Dessert. Only the chili entries get to compete for the one & only ACF Chili Cook-Off Golden Ladle trophy. We’ll also have a People’s Choice Award. Entries will be judged by several of our ministry partners.

Your entries must be homemade by someone in your group!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING:

• Cook-off entry (bring enough to share with your group and others!)
• Serving utensils (ladle/spatula)
• Tables (unless you’re one of the first 20 to reserve one from ACF)
• Easy-up/canopy (optional)
• Chairs (recommended)
• Propane stove if desired
• People! Bring your whole small group! Even those not entering food. Bring friends!
• Decor (optional); go all out with a theme for your table and cook-off entries!
