How can I connect to other women at ACF?

We want to know you!  One way is to pick an activity option listed on our website and just go!  For those not so bold, email Carol Killgore at cakillgore@sbcglobal.net.  Tell Carol a little about yourself and your area of interest or need and she will help point you in the right direction.

How can I find a mentor?

One way is to consider the women already in your life.  Do any of them exhibit a characteristic you long for or seem to have achieved a goal you have for yourself?   Don’t be shy, approach them.  Another option is to contact Tina Nagel at tina.nagel@ccci.org.  Explain a little about your season of life and she will help you out.

How can I grow spiritually?

Jump in!  Serve.  Join a Bible study.  Check out a discipleship group.  Everyone starts somewhere and if you’re hearing a voice that tells you you’re the only one who doesn’t get it, that’s a lie.  We also have smaller groups called One with Three that might appeal to you. Serving opportunities abound.  Look at our KNOW:  Bible Studies, LOVE:  Discipleship or SERVE:  Outreach/MOPS  pages for more details.

How do I join an ACFWomen Bible Study?

Bible studies are a great way to start growing and at ACF we have several types to offer.  Look at the web page listed “KNOW:  Bible Studies”.  Click on any of them for more details and you'll find a contact person and directions for registering.  Please note that childcare reservations are required and space is limited.

Can you tell me the difference between an Inductive Bible Study and an Intentional Living Bible Study?

Inductive Bible studies begin with observing what the Scriptures say, and concludes with a general truth or principle to apply to your life.  Personal study time, small group discussions, and lectures will help you in this going deeper process.

Intentional living studies will help you learn what God has to say on various life topics so that you will choose to live your life for HIS purposes.  These studies will include video series, books by Christian authors, and teachers from our own ACFWomen's Ministry.  Personal study time, small group discussions, and lectures will help you in this process
