to see lives transformed by Christ in Austin and beyond, by unleashing the gifts of the Church to bear witness to God's love and grace for the broken.
It is our desire that every person at ACF passionately pursue a life "on mission" for the Kingdom of God. Whether crossing cultural lines overseas or loving your neighbor in Austin, God has called each of us to serve.
Isaiah 58:10 says, "If you pour out yourself for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday."
We recognize the need to address the social and spiritual deficiencies in Austin and around the world. It is our desire to pour ourselves out to the poor, widowed, migrant, sick, imprisoned, homeless, and oppressed all for the glory and renown of Jesus Christ.
We also recognize our calling to be ministers of reconciliation (II Corinthians 5:18-20) - to bring hope to a hurting world through the message of the cross.
