Thanks for the opportunity to tell you a little about our church. ACF is a growing and thriving church that's helping people to know God better. The church began in 1993 after we had grown increasingly discouraged over the distance that existed between the God we worship and the city we love. Many people in Austin disregard the church and the message of Christ's love and forgiveness that it proclaims. In fact, Austin remains one of the most unchurched cities in North America. ACF tries to communicate the amazing message of Jesus Christ in a relevant and understandable way. For spiritually inquisitive Austinites, it's a safe place to ask hard questions and get real answers.
ACF's mission is to enable the seeker of purpose, meaning and truth to know, love and serve Jesus Christ. Our desire is to help people discover (or rediscover) the significance, power, joy, credibility, hope and authority that make up the teachings of the Bible and specifically those of Jesus Christ. That mission is visible in all ACF ministries including children, students and adults. Whether you're a seasoned veteran in faith and church life, or you're just now beginning your spiritual journey, you'll find ACF to be a warm and helpful place to pursue spiritual truth.
