Thank you for the opportunity to tell you a little about our church.
ACF is a thriving church that is helping people in their efforts to know God better. ACF began in 1993 after we had grown increasingly distraught over the distance that existed between the God we worship and the city we love. Many people in Austin disregard the church and the message of Christ's love and forgiveness that it proclaims. In fact, Austin remains one of the most unchurched cities in North America. ACF tries to communicate the amazing message of Jesus Christ in a relevant and understandable way. For spiritually inquisitive Austinites, it is a safe place to ask hard questions and get real answers.
ACF's mission is to enable the seeker of purpose, meaning, and truth to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. Our desire is to help seeking people discover (or rediscover) the significance, power, joy, credibility, hope, authority and veracity that mark the teachings of the Bible and specifically those of Jesus Christ. That mission is clearly visible in every ACF ministry event for children, youth or adults. Whether you're a seasoned veteran in faith and church life, or you're just now beginning your spiritual journey, you'll find ACF to be a warm and helpful place to pursue spiritual realities.
